Friend Tech Laundry Management
Orders, garment tracking, pickups and deliveries for laundries.
Friend Tech Laundry Management is a system for laundries and dry cleaners that need to control orders from drop-off to delivery. It is designed for single shops as well as laundries with several collection points or a central processing facility serving branches in different areas of Bahrain.
Current status
Friend Tech Laundry Management is currently in development. It is not yet available as a finished product. Laundry businesses can discuss early adoption or a tailored implementation adapted to their services, price lists and delivery model.
Designed around the laundry workflow
At the counter, staff are intended to create orders quickly by selecting items and services such as washing, ironing or dry cleaning, with prices per item and express options. Each order can generate tags or labels so garments can be tracked through processing, and a ready date is shown to the customer.
The system is planned to record order status at each stage, making it easier to answer the familiar question "is my order ready?". Customer notifications and quick WhatsApp contact are included in the design, with any automated messaging subject to provider and account availability.
Pickups, deliveries and accounts
Many laundries in Bahrain offer collection and delivery. The planned scope includes scheduling pickups and deliveries, assigning drivers and recording payment on delivery. Corporate customers such as hotels or clinics can have account-based billing.
Receipts and invoices are being designed to support Bahrain's 10% VAT invoicing requirements, with BHD amounts and Arabic and English printing.
